Who We Are

The UVA Navigators is a community passionate about helping students discover and grow in a relationship with Jesus. Whether you're a student who is exploring a relationship with Jesus for the first time, or someone who is looking to grow in your faith in college, we exist to help you on that journey!

Our passion is to help people personally and individually in their faith. We believe in the power of deep relationships with others to share the truth that we have a God who seeks to know us relationally. We believe in the vision of one-to-one discipleship, personally helping each person right where they're at. We are also passionate about outreach - sharing the hope of the gospel with others.  And we deeply value authenticity, community, and the Bible.  We desire to help students develop the heart, vision, and skill to walk with God for the rest of their lives.

Navigators History

The Navigators is a nondenominational worldwide missions organization that was founded in 1933. Since its founding, The Navigators has upheld the mission “to know Christ, make Him known, and help others do the same®.” Today, we have different ministries in over 100 countries and are on more than 150 campuses in the United States. Navigators Collegiate serves as an open door to share Jesus with some 40,000 to 50,000 students each year through Life-to-Life™ discipleship relationships and fellowship. Our goal is to equip students with the skills and tools they need to advance the gospel wherever life leads.
